Being a mom is THE hardest job you’ll ever have. period. Research indicates that 1 in 10 children have a depressed mother in any given year. There are a variety of reasons that a mother might find herself struggling with depression, but no matter what the reason, irritability, constant worry, fear, and sadness make it pretty hard to complete the activities of daily life for a mom. I have specialized training and experience in treatment using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches for maternal depression. It might be helpful to talk to profession if you’re feeling:
